About Us

THE FOUNDER’S STORY:

Kuelo Foundation was born from lived experience.

I came to the United States as an immigrant from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Like many, I faced unfamiliar systems, cultural barriers, and the challenge of building a future from the ground up.

Through perseverance, discipline, and community engagement, I transformed those challenges into opportunities.

Today, I am a respected union president, an entrepreneur, a community leader—and a devoted husband and father of five.

My journey taught me one powerful truth: Success in America requires more than hard work. It requires understanding the system—and having the right support.

WHY WE EXIST

WHY WE EXIST:

Kuelo Foundation exists because opportunity without guidance leaves too many behind.

We help immigrants understand American values, institutions, and expectations—so they can integrate with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

  • When immigrants understand the system, they don’t just adapt.
  • They contribute.
  • They lead.
  • They build generational success.
